Rospotrebnadzor to provide additional funds to Armenia in sidelines of combating coronavirus: ambassador

Russia and Armenia, as brotherly, EAEU member states, are closely cooperating from the first day of state of emergency, Russia’s ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin said at a news conference today.

“The leaders of the two countries, the health ministries and other high-ranking officials are in constant contact,” he said.

The ambassador stressed that from the early phase of pandemic Rospotrebnazor handed to its Armenian partners 1,500 tests for diagnosing coronavirus.

Kopirkin stressed that mobile laboratory provided by the Russian too has a significant role in fighting against coronavirus.

“I want to stress that besides Armenia, only Serbia and Italy have such complexes,” he said.

The ambassador added that Rospotrebnadzor will provide additional funds to Armenia during the running year for diagnostic works.
