Nikol Pashinyan is in panic, the only tool in his political arsenal is lie: Artur Vanetsyan

President of Hayrenik party, former NSS director Artur Vanetsyan has responded to the questions of Aysor.am.

- Mr Vanetsyan, yesterday Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan named those criticizing him “bacillus” and stated that not only health-related coronavirus is being spread in Armenia but political one as well, which he said, will bring to their political death. How will you comment it as his most active critic?

- I will not go down to his level and use that vocabulary. I can say that Nikol Pashinyan is in panic because he understands that he has lost his main tool. If to speak in political language, only one weapon has left in Nikol Pashinyan’s political arsenal which is called lie, today he has nothing but lie. He actively uses this tool trying to confuse people.

- What is the reason of dismissal of NSS former director Eduard Martirosyan in your opinion? Can it be the failure to find ties of certain circles with the Satan?

- I have no clear information why Eduard Martirosyan was relieved of post, but I can say that hunt for the Satan was organized in medieval Europe during inquisition time. During that period no one was searching for the Satan too but were searching for people who as if were worshipping the Satan. It is just disgusting. The current developments over the NSS is a direct threat to the country’s security. I continue my allegations that the NSS is the main base of state’s security and touching it may be equalized to state betrayal.

- Mr Vanetsyan you have met with the NA opposition factions and with the ARF-D. Are you planning to meet with, for example, the Republican party?

- I have said that nothing can be excluded in politics. As of the moment, I have no scheduled meeting with the Republican party, but I can say that I know many members of the RPA and have very positive opinion about them. With their activity they proved being good specialists and devoted to the state. But this does not relate to all the rest members of that party.

There are professionals and frank people in each party and there are unfair ones too.

- Your second office is in Hrazdan, where My Step faction deputy Sasun Mikayelyan has big influence. Why are you in Hrazdan? Do you think you will succeed here?

- Our second territorial structure opened in Hrazdan. During the upcoming weeks we will open our offices in other provinces too. It is a political process, it is a process of party building which envisages establishing territorial offices in all the provinces of Armenia. I am convinced that Hayrenik party will succeed both in Hrazdan and in all other corners.
