State of emergency in Armenia prolonged for another month
The state of emergency in Armenia has been prolonged for another month.
The decision was made at the extraordinary cabinet sitting today.
According to it, the state of emergency in Armenia will be extended till July 13, 5 p.m.
The government says that the decision has been made considering the circumstance that the emergency situation created in the republic due to coronavirus continues threatening the life and health of the population.
The draft decision presented by justice minister Rustam Badasyan says that the circumstances that resulted in declaring state of emergency on March 16, 2020 have not been eliminated yet.
The number of cases of infection as of June 12 as well as the further spread of the virus in the republic continue threatening people’s life and health.
