Situation with coronavirus not good in Armenia, 723 new cases reported: PM
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan speaking live on Facebook today said that the situation with coronavirus is not good in Armenia.
“Yesterday we registered a new record – 723 new confirmed cases. The number of deaths is 6, the number of recovered – 422,” he said.
Pashinyan stressed that people do not keep the anti-epidemic rules and are not wearing masks.
"This is our political attitude toward our state order," he said, adding that the state order has always associated with violence while the revolution has brought freedom to the people.
Pashinyan stressed that in critical situations people perceive the state order as restriction of their freedom and are not compliant with the rules.
"There is no other explanation to what happens. The revolution liberated us, consequently we associate our freedom with the absence of the order," he said.
