PAP leader says he wants the country to get out of crisis, which the government can’t ensure
Prosperous Armenia party leader Gagik Tsarukyan has issued a statement, expressing gratitude to those who supported him yesterday with their presence, “showing that there cannot be one-man rule in Armenia.”
“I thank all those who have never been my associates, my voters and were even my opponents but seeing the injustice, the simple political order did not keep silence and expressed their discontent. What happened is really very ugly phenomenon and is called making up criminal cases with political order,” he said in the statement.
“Why do the authorities undertake such steps? The answer is very simple. An extremely grave situation has been created in Armenia agreed with pandemic. Armenia is in healthcare crisis the terrible consequences of which our population is yet to feel,” he said, stressing that with its unforgivable frivolity the government is one responsible for tens of thousands of infected and hundreds of deaths.
“Even now the government does not have clear strategy and does not imagine the deepness of the problem,” he said, adding that they do not know what to do and how to get out of the created situation.
“The social tension increases in the country from day to day. Thousands of people are facing the epidemic alone, hundred thousands remained alone before the economic difficulties. Dissatisfaction raises in the country from hour to hour,” Tsarukyan stressed in his statement.
“But what do the authorities do to give solution to the issues? Instead of carrying out difficult but real work they have selected the path of threatening the opponents. The campaign against me, the criminal cases were filed days ago, after my well-known speech,” he said, stressing that he predicted such outcome but deep in his heart hoped that the authorities would perceive issues voiced by him as call, warning from a person who is well-aware of the economic situation and will admit the evident mistakes and will try to consolidate all the forces to solve the issue.
Tsarukyan said he is ready for any scenario.
“I apply to our citizens, don’t be afraid, don’t give up, everything will be fine, we will overcome this crisis even if the authorities and Nikol Pashinyan personally do everything to worsen the situation,” he said, stressing that his only wish is that the country gets out of the created situation which he said, this government is not able to do.
Tsarukyan also urged the people to have trust, the will and compliance with anti-epidemic rules as their health is above everything for him.
