Armenia’s PM offers lawmakers to prepare bill on suspending activity of parties
The activity of a party which oppresses the free expression of the will of the people in a coordinated way must be banned, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the government-NA Q&A.
“I am giving an idea for a bill. In 2017 I have prepared a bill on changing the grounds for suspending the activity of parties. I wrote it for the case if party buys votes, makes falsifications,” he said, adding that the colleagues from Yelk faction did not agree to put the bill into circulation.
“But I think we should think about it,” the prime minister said.
