Bright Armenia to assist in setting ad hoc committee if it is headed by its faction member

Bright Armenia faction has received a note on formation of ad hoc investigative committee to study the works on prevention of spread of coronavirus, head of the faction Edmon Marukyan told the reporters today.

He stressed that the idea was put into circulation by them almost a month ago after which Artur Vanetsyan urged the parliamentary forces to initiate it.

“Today the PAP initiated the process of creation of investigative committee. When I was saying about the possibility of creation of the committee I was also telling to view the expediency of doing it in conditions of the current parliamentary majority. We also said that probably it is necessary to wait until the end of the pandemic,” Marukyan said.

He said in better case the committee may be created in September and they will assist in setting it with condition that it is headed by Bright Armenia faction representative.
