We do not succeed in reducing numbers: Armenia’s PM says tougher measures to be applied for not wearing masks
The chief problem continues to be the spread of coronavirus, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the cabinet sitting today.
“We have recorded 665 new cases during the past day. We do not succeed in reducing these numbers and we know the reason of the failure – the epidemiological safety standards are not being preserved and we have to apply tougher administrative measures for the people to comply with the rules,” the Prime Minister said.
Pashinyan reminded that carrying passport or any other identification document is obligatory and not having it and not wearing masks are two different administrative violations that will be fined by 10,000 AMD each.
