Arresting person for assumptions is absurd: PAP leader's attorney says the accusing side failed to prove anything at court
The charge against PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan does not register that Tsarukyan personally told anyone to go and give bribe, attorney Yerem Sargsyan told the reporters today.
“The accusing side failed to substantiate and present a document which with its content would essentially differ from the document submitted on February 5. There is no document which says that Gagik Tsarukyan told anyone go and give electoral bribe. The court has not received any proof of it. There is no proof that Gagik Tsarukyan personally gave electoral bribe to anyone. There is no proof that Gagik Tsarukyan knew that someone received bribe. All the rest are just assumptions,” the attorney said, adding that arresting person for assumptions is absurdity.
