Gas price to go up in Armenia from July 19, to remain unchanged for common consumers
Gas price to go up in Armenia from July 19 for big consumers, greenhouses, reprocessing organizations.
Public Services Regulatory Commission set new prices at its session today which will enter into force from July 19.
The price for population and socially insecure clusters will remain unchanged.
Thus, for the consumers consuming up to 10,000 cubic meters (main population) monthly the gas price will remain unchanged – 139,000 AMD for each 1,000 cubic meters.
Consumers receiving family and social allowances will too continue paying 100,000 AMD for up to 600 cubic meters of gas annually.
Gazprom Armenia offered to set $283,14 against current $212 for greenhouses, reprocessing organizations for each 1,000 cubic meters from November 1 till March 31. The PSRC approved $224.
For consumers using over 10,000 cubic meters monthly Gazprom Armenia offered to pay $283,14 against current $242,1. The PSRC set $255,92.
Accordingly, the average weighted price for 1,000 cubic meters of gas is set $266,71.
