Hayrenik party has road map for non-turbulent change of power
On June 20 Hayrenik (Homeland) party convened a meeting in its central office with new members and associates.
During the meeting the participants discussed the causes of threatening spread of coronavirus epidemic, gave evaluations of the social-economic and moral-psychological situation in the country, showed the paths to overcome the deepening systemic crisis in public administration and discussed practical issues for participation in the campaign to address the ideological-political principles and values of the party to all layers of society.
“We have a roadmap for non-turbulent power shift, but coming to power is not an end in itself as the important thing is to ensure the interest of the state and society,” the president of the party Artur Vanetsyan said, adding that the current regime which has exhausted the trust of the people must leave without shocks.
The participants also voiced ideas and viewpoints about cooperation with other parties, intellectuals, scholars, journalists, state and civil figures.
Representatives from the party’s council reported that each day they receive membership applications from hundreds of people.
