Some overestimate their strength of conducting rallies in Armenia: Pashinyan
The gatherings are prohibited in Armenia but who said that the participants of the gathering want to voice dissatisfaction from the incumbent government, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a briefing today, asked whether, with allegations of some opponents, state of regime has been declared to solve political issues only.
“Who said that 5, 10 or 100 times more participants will not gather to express their discontent from the actions of certain corrupted. This must too be taken into consideration. Some must be pleased that there is no opportunity to conduct gatherings otherwise I think the supporters of the revolution would have conducted at least in some cases mass gatherings and tell their word over a number of cases,” the prime minister said.
Pashinyan stressed that the circles making such comments overestimate their strength of conducting rallies in Armenia.
“If by saying rally they understand bringing restricted number of people to the square for 10,000 AMD and, they rely on it, their hopes will very soon fade away,” Pashinyan said.
