50,094 jobs out of 71,471 closed due to coronavirus outbreak restored: Armenia’s PM
Some 71,471 jobs closed in Armenia in April, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said live on Facebook.
“Analyzing this and other data we came to the conclusion that we must adopt a strategy of living in parallel with coronavirus, otherwise we will not have just economic decline but economic collapse,” the PM said.
Pashinyan noted that in May after the decision not to continue the lockdown policy, 50,094 jobs were restored.
“Today we were discussing with the SRC chairman and registered that the process of restoration of jobs continues and this is the most important information we have for the recent period,” the PM said, adding though that it does not mean the complicated economic situation has been restored.
