Tigran Urikhanyan joins application for applying to CC

NA independent deputy, president of Alliance party Tigran Urikhanyan has signed the application for applying to the CC.

“The process is taking place right now,” the deputy told Aysor.am.

The PAP initiated the signature gathering for applying to the CC for disputing the constitutionality of the Constitutional amendments adopted by the parliamentary majority on Monday.

The application was signed by 25 deputies of the PAP and sent to the Bright Armenia faction. Head of Bright Armenia registered that the process was unconstitutional and took place with a number of violations but did not join the application reasoning with the examination of second president Robert Kocharyan’s application by the CC.

After this statement the defense team of the second president decided to withdraw their applications from the CC not to “impede the process” and allow Bright Armenia to join the application.

Bright Armenia will make a statement later today.
