CC judge says no document registers about termination of their powers

Constitutional Court judge Alvina Gyulumyan came to work today.

“The issue is being regulated by constitutional order. No one has registered yet that my powers are terminated. The Constitutional norm has been adopted, but there is a law about CC which organizes the activity of the CC. In this case we continue working with the rule of law,” the judge said, adding that there is no document in the court fixing that the term of office of any of us has been terminated.

“Consequently, the statements are not basis for my or your resignation,” Gyulumyan stressed.

It has been reported that CC chairman Hrayr Tovmasyan and judge Arevik Petrosyan went on vacation.

Gyulumyan said it is their regular vacation.

“Usually when CC president goes on vacation, he is being replaced by the vice-president,” Gyulumyan said.
