All attempts to mix plans of the authorities are useless: Justice Minister on developments over CC

Armenia’s Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan referred in a Facebook post to the situation over the Constitutional Court.

“The allegations that these constitutional amendments must enter into force only after the amendments in the constitutional law on Constitutional Court have nothing to do with reality. The political forces trying to create artificial agenda will not succeed in mixing the plans of the authorities. These are all useless attempts,” the minister wrote, adding that yesterday the funniest incident in Armenia’s political history was registered.

“They decided that if just a “little” vote is not enough they can "slightly round" the number which testifies the level of their fight. The Constitutional amendments entered into force. The term of office of three judges has been terminated as well as the term of office of Hrayr Tovmasyan as chairman of the CC,” Badasyan wrote.
