Earthquake of 2.6-magnitude hits Armenia
A 2.6-magnitude earthquake was recorded on July 2 by the Seismic Protection Service of Armenia at 6.11 a.m. local time, 3 km southeast from Marmarashen village of Ararat province.
Emergency Situations Ministry reports that in the epicenter the earthquake measured magnitude 3.
The quake was felt in the town of Artashat and in Dvin, Marmarashen and Araksavan villages.
