Court of Appeal to examine PAP leader’s arrest petition on July 7
The Court of Appeal will examine petition to arrest PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan on July 7 at 11 a.m.
“As far as part of the complaints have been sent via e-mail, the court has not received them so far,” Tsarukyan’s attorney Yerem Sargsyan said, adding that as far as not all the parties have familiarized with the complaints the hearing has been postponed.
The prosecutor's office has appealed the first-instance court's decision to deny the motion to arrest Tsarukyan as a preventive measure, asking the Court of Appeal to overturn this decision and to arrest the PAP leader.
Gagik Tsarukyan is charged with buying votes during 2017 elections.
