PAP MPs urge health minister not to be concerned about their political force but about responsibility he will face for failing coronavirus fight
Prosperous Armenia faction MP Iveta Tonoyan referred in her Facebook post to the health minister of Armenia Arsen Torosyan, describing the posts written by him as “exclusive cynicism.”
“One must have an exclusive cynicism to disperse mourner posts on Facebook after driving the people to tragedies with own incompetence and inability,” Tonoyan wrote.
“The healthcare system is in deep crisis with the infection and death tolls registering uncontrollable growth tempos, the corpses of people are being confused, given to others while the person on the post of the health minister is dabbling in Facebook. As it is said, no comment…” Tonoyan said.
Yesterday minister Arsen Torosyan referred to the issue of the confused body of a patient mistakenly given to other family. The issue was voiced by PAP lawmaker Naira Zohrabyan.
“Mrs Zohrabyan, I am very grateful to you for voicing the issue of the corpse of our patient though I was aware of it myself and was solving it. Now, you’d better return to the reincarnation of your “deceased” political force, if of course you succeed in it which I strictly doubt,” Torosyan wrote on Facebook.
Zohrabyan commented on the post urging the minister not to get very concerned with their political force.
“Mr Torosyan, don’t be so concerned about our political force, I assure you, there is no such need. But you should be concerned of the unenviable prospect of holding the responsibility for the failure in fighting coronavirus, for the already uncontrollable situation…If I were you, I would have apologized from the relatives of Gyumri family instead of monitoring of the political forces,” she wrote.
