Yerevan court to consider Vanetsyan’s lawsuit against 1in.am news agency
The court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan has accepted for proceedings the lawsuit by Hayrenik (Homeland) party president, former director of Armenia’s National Security Service, Artur Vanetsyan, and his parents against "1in.am" news agency of "Skizb Media Kentron" LLC, Aysor.am learnt from DataLex Judicial Information System.
"Skizb Media Kentron" LLC belongs to independent MP Arman Babajanyan.
Vanetsyan and his parents are demanding a public refutation of slanderous information, to compel the defendant to publish the text of this refutation, and to compensate for the damage caused to honor and dignity.
1in.am published an article as if Vanetsyan and son of former MP Mher Sedrakyan (known as Mher of Tokhmakh) launched a joint logistic business by which they were transporting raw material from Kajaran copper-molybdenum company to corresponding destinations.
