Narek Samsonyan taken to police department

Chairman of the Civil Consciousness NGO Narek Samsonyan has been taken to police department, head of Adekvad Unity Artur Danielyan.

“It appeared that the following happened – Narek Samsonyan was smoking with his mask down, a police officer approached and demanded that he properly wore the mask. Narek explained that he was smoking. At that very moment a man approached and started bad-worded speech against Samsonyan, uttering the latter’s name and surname. That is, he knew the name and did everything for Samsonyan to respond to the provocation,” Danielyan wrote, adding that Samsonyan did not respond to the provocation and the police officer was forced to take him to police department without any incident.

“I suppose his apprehension was planned,” Danielyan said, adding that they will try to understand what police will do next.
