Court of Appeal overturns first instance court ruling regarding PAP leader’s preventive measure
The Court of Appeal has overturned the ruling of the court of general jurisdiction regarding the Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s preventive measure and sent it back for new consideration, Tsarukyan’s attorney Emin Khachatryan told Aysor.am.
“We have not got familiarized with the decision yet. I cannot comments at this moment,” he said.
PAP leader is charged with buying votes during 2017 elections.
On June 21 judge of the court of general jurisdiction Robert Papoyan denied the motion to select arrest as his preventive measure.
Prosecutor General's Office appealed the ruling at the Court of Appeal.
