Armenia’s Justice Ministry cooperates with all international partners in fighting corruption: spokesperson
Armenia’s Ministry of Justice is cooperating with all international partners in the sidelines of fighting against corruption, spokesperson Lusine Martirosyan told Aysor.am, referring to the Russia Today’s publication that U.S. Department of State is planning to hire a specialist to help Armenia’s government fight corruption.
According to the publication, the specialist will closely cooperate with Armenia’s Ministry of Justice and promote reforms.
The spokesperson said the ministry is getting expertise consultation over a number of reform programs from U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), USAID, EU (TAIEX – the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument of the European Commission), Council of Europe, in particular GRECO, UNDP, World Bank.
“So the information published by the media refers to the involvement of another expert by our American partners,” Martirosyan said.
