Armenia’s FM, with coordination of PM and DM, in permanent touch with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs
Armenia’s Foreign Ministry condemns in strongest terms the ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani armed forces in the direction of Tavush region of Armenia, starting from the afternoon of July 12, accompanied by the attempts to infiltrate into Armenian positions with the use of artillery, the MFA said in the statement.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the coordination of the Armenian PM and Minister of Defense is in constant touch with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and personal representative of the OSCE acting chairman-in-office briefing the situation and the dangers of future escalation.
During the recent period the Azerbaijani side, opposite to the calls of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to refrain from provocative actions, hate speech and reinforcement of ceasefire regime, continuously came up with the threats of usage of force and military escalation. In conditions of the existence of these threats the whole responsibility of the consequences of the provocative actions lays on the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan.
