Tavush governor: Situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border relatively calm now
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively calm now, governor of Armenia’s Tavush said at a briefing today.
“During today's morning over 10 houses have been damaged and some infrastructures,” he said.
The governor said that water pipeline has been damaged in Tavush-Nerkin Karmiraghbyur sector.
Chobanyan said that the citizens were mainly in shelters during the shelling. No wounded, no casualties have been reported.
Hayk Chobanyan stressed that from tomorrow they will start restoring the houses.
“The houses the restoration of which will not be expedient, will not be, instead new houses will be built, I want our residents not to worry, we will solve their house issues,” the governor said.
He stressed the importance of being cautious as the situation may change at any moment.
Chobanyan said during this period 30 houses have been damaged as a result of the military operations by the enemy.
