Armenian-Azerbaijani border the only place to use violence: Bright Armenia faction head on clashes between Armenians and Azerbaijanis abroad

Head of opposition Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan referred in his post to the clashes between Armenians and Azerbaijanis in other countries.

He stressed that Armenians should compete with Azerbaijanis in political, economic, cultural, sports aspects but never in street revenges and physical violence.

“We must understand that as a result we endanger the lives of Armenians living in different parts of the world,” he said, urging Diaspora Armenians not give in to provocations and not be engaged in the inter-ethnic clashes.

“It is inadmissible and destructive practice,” he said, urging to demonstrate restraint and calmness and register once and for all that there is only one place for use of violence – the Armenian-Azerbaijani border where Armenian soldiers and officers are defending homeland and if necessary oblige peace by using force.

Marukyan also called on Armenia’s diplomatic representations and embassies open hot lines to collect data of the Armenians attacked and injured as a result of attacks by Azerbaijanis and launch legal process according to the legislation of the country where it happens.
