Armenia has chance to break the back of the pandemic: PM
The coronavirus situation has essentially improved in Armenia during the past 15 days and continues improving, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the cabinet sitting today.
“For the first time since June 11, as of yesterday, we have less than 9,000 active cases – 8,877. We have not had such low number since June 11,” the PM said.
He noted that Armenia has chance to break the back of the pandemic.
“It puts special responsibility on each of us,” he said.
The PM also said that pensions will start being distributed.
“You should work today and tomorrow to comply with epidemiological rules,” Armenia’s PM instructed CB chairman Martin Galstyan and High-tech Minister Hakob Arshakyan.
The head of the government also noted the importance of compliance with the rules during funerals, weddings.
“We hope that each of us will accept the challenge, and we will manage to register the end of the pandemic in September,” he said.
The Prime Minsiter urged to be more sober.
