Former PAP faction MP explains reason of leaving the faction with disagreements in approaches
Former PAP faction MP Sergey Bagratyan took to Facebook today to explain the reason of leaving the faction.
Bagratyan said that hence he will work as an independent MP.
Explaining the reason Bagratyan said that for long time his political position essentially differed from the one of the party’s Political Council, and he had always presented his disagreements and objections over the decisions and core statements made by the party.
“I have fought for tens of years for the establishment of the values declared by New Armenia and I will continue to. The powerful state, society without violence, human rights are the goals that have always and will always guide me,” he said, stressing that political units are replaceable but the state is eternal.
“I am almost convinced that all the political units accept these approaches but the ways to achieve them are different. Here is where our ideas differ from the PAP’s guidelines,” he said, stressing that in his new status he will double his enthusiasm, and serve his knowledge and experience for the reinforcement of the statehood and the best interests of the Armenian people.
