Armenia’s PM: Coronavirus situation in Armenia continues to improve
Coronavirus situation in Armenia luckily improves, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at a briefing today, stressing that on August 4, for the first time the number of active cases was less than 8,000.
He said Armenia has a chance to overcome the pandemic.
The PM also said that the decrease in numbers has become a reason not to comply with epidemiological rules and that many think that the pandemic has already been left behind.
“It is not so at all. The situation still remains complicated,” the PM said, adding that they will continue strictly following the compliance of the citizens with the epidemiological rules, including wearing masks in open and closed territories.
