Coronavirus epidemiological situation weakens: Armenia’s PM
The coronavirus situation in Armenia is weakening but the daily cases continue to be high, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the cabinet sitting today.
“We have certain confidence that the degree of revelation of cases has raised. We have had an opportunity to change our strategy in this regard and if previously the flows were big, now the Ministry of Health will be more initiative and will send groups to places of high risk, plants at its own initiative and will diagnose people on site,” he said, adding that it will allow to somehow overcome the situation.
The PM said currently 68 people are in severely grave condition, 300 in grave.
“The figures have reduced and our analysis showed that this reduction is agreed with the mandatory mask wearing,” he said, adding that the people should continue strictly follow the epidemiological rules.
Health Minister Arsen Torosyan said about stable reduction of cases.
