Edmon Marukyan applied for reconstruction of road taking to well-known Khndzoresk swinging bridge

Bright Armenia faction head Edmon Marukyan applied to the Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Minister Suren Papikyan for reconstruction of the road taking to Khndzoresk swinging bridge.

“The well-known swinging bridge tying Syunik region’s Old and New Khndzoresk communities is a tourist direction. The sight to the gorge where the Desert Church is situated in the court of which Mkhitar Sparapet (Commander) was buried opens from the bridge. On the other edge of the bridge is the cave town. But the only road there is in poor condition impeding the growth of the number of tourists,” Marukyan wrote on Facebook, saying that he applied to the minister to reconstruct the road which he said will have positive impact on the growth of tourist flows and improvement of conditions of local residents.
