People with alcohol intoxication treated in different medical establishments: spokesperson
The people with alcohol intoxication from Armavir and Yerevan are getting treatment in different medical establishments, Health Ministry spokesperson Alina Nikoghosyan reports.
She said two of them are in Armenia Republican Medical Center, one in Erebuni Medical Center. Doctors assess the condition of all of them severely grave. Two of them are on ventilation.
A patient in Heratsi N1 clinical hospital applied for medical help on August 30. Currently his connection with the intoxication cases is being clarified.
According to preliminary information, one of the 11 death cases has been rejected as the death was caused by another reason.
All the patients used home-made vodka which is the most probable source of the intoxication.
Currently works are being carried out to reveal the scope of buyers and users of the alcohol.
Two samples of the home-made vodka were taken for laboratory examination.
