Not “hot” fall but political crisis should be expected: political analyst on expected developments
The situation in Armenia is very tense since 2018 with political processes developing quite actively, political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan said speaking to Aysor.am, asked about possible politically “hot” fall.
“I am waiting for more pessimistic scenarios – not "hot" fall but a political crisis which is obviously growing agreed with a number of circumstances,” he said, mentioning the inefficiency of the activity of the government in all the sectors.
“Issues are growing everywhere, plus the real threat of war. The combination of all this brings forward the possibilities of dangerous scenarios,” the political analyst stressed.
He said that people and the political forces see that Nikol Pashinyan’s government has lost the public support.
“These forces have activated. Many of them already have serious social base. It is clear that these forces were not sitting idly during summer and worked with the public. Now we must see the results of their work. This is why I consider the phrase “hot” fall sound a bit mild,” the political analyst said.
Melik-Shahnazaryan also stressed that the healthcare, education, foreign policy sectors have obviously been failed, and people see and understand it.
