Opposition forces to try to form new agendas in fall: political technologist
Not “hot” but simply politically active fall may be expected, political technologist Vigen Hakobyan told Aysor.am.
“The summer was active too when all the former presidents were elaborating active work. The holiday season in general was quite active,” he said, stressing also the cooperation of three opposition parties – Homeland, PAP and ARF-D – that started in summer.
“These forces both act independently and manage to cooperate with one another. So we saw quite active developments in the opposition field. I will call them positioning processes,” the technologist said, adding that in fall the opposition forces will try to form new political agendas using the issues that have become chronic for authorities – exploitation of Amulsar, pandemic, tense social-economic situation caused by the pandemic.
“The so-called educational reforms, staff issues turn into separate political issue too. All these issues were not settled for months and an unpleasant moment may come for authorities when people start demanding solution to their issues,” Vigen Hakobyan said.
The political technologist said at that moment the authorities will panic and make serious mistakes.
“We see that the incumbent authorities cannot settle many issues in calm conditions, I do not even speak what they should do in critical situations. It is even needless to speak about crisis management,” he said.
