Bill on quarantine envisages milder restrictions: lawmaker
Quarantine regime will become milder with the adoption of the worked out bill, chairman of the NA’s State-Legal Affairs Standing Committee Vladimir Vardanyan told the reporters today.
He said the measures registered in the bill will allow to prevent the spread of the infection in conditions of milder restrictions.
“The presented bill envisages minimal restrictions. They are both proportional and legislatively based. No restriction must be an end in itself, they must pursue legal purposes,” he said.
Earlier Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan stated about working out package of bills for making amendments in the laws about Ensuring Sanitary-Epidemiological Safety of the RA Population and Protection of Population in Emergency Situations.
According to the bill, the state of emergency declared till September 11 will not be extended but after it ends other restrictions and measures will be applied.
