Homeland, PAP, ARF-D parties may conduct joint rally to ensure wider consolidation
Prosperous Armenia party has not decided yet when the rally stated by their leader Gagik Tsarukyan will take place.
Speaking to Aysor.am, party’s faction lawmaker Iveta Tonoyan said that the date of the rally will be announced after Gagik Tsarukyan ends his regional meetings.
“I cannot tell the exact date of the rally now, because Gagik Tsarukyan is conducting series of meetings in all the regions, discusses all the concerns the people have presented to territorial offices of the party. After the series of meetings end, the agenda and clear date of the rally will be decided,” Tonoyan said.
As to uniting with Homeland and ARF-D parties, Tonoyan said, they are actively cooperating with the two forces and there are no issues in their trio format.
“In any case I do not exclude that our trio partners will be by our side with a united agenda,” she stressed.
Speaking about the agenda of the rally, the lawmaker said it includes both educational, healthcare, agricultural issues.
Member of Homeland party’s administration Arsen Babayan told Aysor.am that they have not discussed the issue of joining the rally yet.
“Our partners from the PAP many times expressed wish of our participation, but we have not discussed it yet. We have always stated that in case of necessity, yes, we will be at the rally, will take part in it and deliver a speech,” Babayan said.
As to with what agenda Homeland party will join the PAP rally, Babayan said the core issue of the three parties is to remove the authorities headed by Nikol Pashinyan.
Member of the ARF-D Supreme Body Artsvik Minasyan stressed that the three forces are discussing the issue of conduction of joint rally.
Speaking to Aysor.am he said the agenda of the trio includes conduction of rallies, meetings, assistance to citizens.
“Our agenda is clear. The first is assessment of the situation, including all the challenges and threats the country is facing both in domestic and external fronts as a result of actions of incompetent authorities,” he said.
The second Minasyan said is assessment to the authorities as with their today’s staff, behavior and implemented policy they are not able to overcome the challenges, moreover they create new ones.
The third Minasyan said that the country needs qualitatively new authorities able not only to overcome the mentioned challenges but create real environment for reforms.
The ARF-D representative said that the authorities must be formed by the people and through the people.
Minasyan stressed that they unite to create wider consolidation. “And this is not pre-election bloc,” Minasyan added.
