Residents of Yeghegnut community gather in front of Government building, protest against restoration of rights of former community head
Residents of Armenia’s Yeghegnut community gathered outside the government building today protesting against the decision of the governor of Armenia’s Armavir region to restore the rights of former head of the community.
The protesters say that the majority of the villagers do not accept the head of the village.
Aide to Armenia’s Prime Minister Nairi Sargsyan agreed to meet three representatives of the community to discuss the issue.
The participants of the action say the aide to the PM will convey them the position of the Prime Minister.
