Turkey only country to support Azerbaijan during July developments, display aggressive approach towards Armenia: Mnatsakanyan

During July events Turkey was the only country with one-sided and very aggressive approach, with its unilateral support to Azerbaijan, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said at a joint news conference with his Egyptian counterpart.

“The aggressive approach was addressed to Armenia and people of Armenia which was expressed in the rhetoric on all the levels and actions. Indeed, we witness the attempts of military accumulation. We also receive information about the usage of foreign terrorist militants who will be transported to Azerbaijan or have already been. We witness big military presence, military reinforcement. All this are just actions which impede the efforts of establishing peace and stability in the region,” he said.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan noted that Armenia is resolute in its defense and will resolutely deny any manifestation of force, any policy of aggression and destabilization.

“We witness this policy of spreading influence from East Mediterranean to North Africa and Middle East as well as South Caucasus. Such policy is not welcomed at all,” Armenia’s minister said.
