Suren Sargsyan: Pashinyan’s administration only one not to meet with any member of U.S. President’s Cabinet
In early October Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan will visit Washington D.C.
“I hope finally the meeting of Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Secretary of State will take place. It is a last chance to meet with any member of Trump's Cabinet by elections. Since the independence Pashinyan’s administration was the only one not having met with any member of the U.S. President’s Cabinet. The leaders of the two countries have not met either. It is too an exceptional phenomena,” political analyst Suren Sargsyan wrote on Facebook.
He stressed that some like to repeat that Trump’s administration is strange and this is the reason of not meeting.
“With unknown reason they are not strange for Georgians, Azerbaijanis, Kazakhs and Uzbeks. They meet, form serious agenda. I do not exclude that U.S. co-chair of the Minsk Group will meet with him in Washington like it was stated in yesterday’s statement of the co-chairs,” Sargsyan wrote.
