Arayik Harutyunyan holds this post because of being Nikol Pashinyan's trusted person: Ani Samsonyan

The demand of resignation of education minister Arayik Harutyunyan is the most natural demand today by the people, member of Bright Armenia faction Ani Samsonyan said at a briefing today.

“See what is going on in secondary schools, in universities, with science, I am not even speaking about culture and sports. We will speak about all these issues and will present that during the two years the person has not done anything besides ridiculing the scientific, pedagogical community and humiliating them,” Samsonyan said.

She stressed that all the reforms that should have been implemented were not.

“We see the opposite, we see chaos in the universities. When he assumed the post and stated that he would depoliticize the educational establishments, it did not work either,” Samsonyan said.

The lawmaker also added that the 88 people in the NA hall tolerate Arayik Harutyunyan only because he is one of the leaders of the revolution.

“Any other value as responsible of the sector this person does not have. All know that he is Nikol Pashinyan’s trusted person that is why they keep silence. It speaks of the fact that in Armenia the sectors are being managed by people whose values are either being leader of revolution or walking,” the opposition lawmaker stressed.
