Armenia fortifies its positions on border: Tavush governor

After July military actions the adversary has intensified its activity on the border, governor of Armenia’s Tavush region Hayk Chobanyan told Aysor.am.

“Before the July developments, especially during the past 1-1,5 years there was a relative peace and the recent processes registered essential changes in the situation as compared with the one before,” the governor said.

He stressed that the Armenian side has fortified the positions on the border which the adversary does not welcome.

“They are trying to continue the provocations. Unfortunately we have a victim,” Chobanyan said.

The governor stressed that this case must receive the toughest response because the human life is the biggest value that we have.

“We must do everything to ensure safety of lives of our soldiers on the border,” the governor said.
