Artsakh National Assembly to move from Stepanakert to Shushi in 2022
Artsakh Republic’s National Assembly will move from capital Stepanakert to Shushi in 2022, President of Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan reported.
“I am glad to announce that I have received the positive response of Free Homeland-Civil United Party” and Justice factions to my proposal voiced weeks ago from the Parliament. I think other NA factions will too join the position of their colleagues,” Harutyunyan wrote on Facebook.
The Artsakh president said that during his working visit to Shushi he discussed the opportunity to provide to the NA the partially built building envisaged to be a court. He said the construction works will resume shortly.
The president said the historic and victorious town will be newly revalued with such initiative.
