Development of allied relations between Armenia and Russia promotes security in South Caucasus, says Russia’s president
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin addressed a congratulatory message to Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Armenia’s Independence Day.
Kremlin press service reports, that in the message Russia’s president stressed that the relations between Russia and Armenia are based on good friendship traditions and mutual respect and the future development of allied ties and multifaceted cooperation goes in tune with long-term interests of the peoples of the two countries and promotes peace, stability and security in the South Caucasus.
“Constructive dialogue between our countries, bilateral cooperation in different directions as well as the interaction in the frame of integration processes within Eurasian space will continue developing successfully,” Putin stressed.
