Edmon Marukyan: Bright Armenia to initiate impeachment process at parliament if it demands government’s resignation

Bright Armenia is cooperating with different forces and in case of coincidence of the agenda forms joint initiative, head of the party’s parliamentary faction Edmon Marukyan said at a briefing in the NA today.

“By now our agenda coincided with the PAP's regarding submitting application to the CC, creating coronavirus and other ad hoc investigative committees, and these initiatives were successful,” Marukyan said, adding that each force has own agenda and there is nothing new in conduction of rally by one or few forces.

Asked whether Bright Armenia will join the Homeland, ARF-D and PAP parties in their demand of resignation of the government if they voice it at the rally, Marukyan said, “If Bright Armenia demands resignation of the government, it will initiate impeachment process at the parliament. Bright Armenia does not wait for anyone to state anything to hurry and join the statement.”
