New petition on PAP leader’s arrest not submitted to court: Gor Abrahamyan
New petition on selecting arrest as pre-trial measure for PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan has not been submitted to the court, advisor to Prosecutor General Gor Abrahamyan reports.
Abrahamyan said the Court of Appeal has partially upheld the petition of the prosecutor to appeal the ruling of the first instance court and overturn the made judicial act sending it for new examination.
He said the ruling of the Court of Appeal has entered into force on the basis of which the court of first instance set a court hearing for new examination of the petition.
“In this regard the statements about the already predefined outcome of the court hearing as well as the attempts to politicize the exclusively legal process are unacceptable,” Abrahamyan wrote.
On Wednesday the court will examine the NSS’ petition to select arrest as pre-trial measure for Gagik Tsarukyan.
The petition will be examined by judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan.
