Civil war about to launch in Jermuk between mine exploitation supporters and people against it: political analyst
A civil war is about to launch in Jermuk between the supporters of mine exploitation and those who are against it, political analyst Stepan Danielyan wrote on Facebook.
“One side shows the social issues, the other – environmental… The hostility may last for long even after the mine issue is settled in any of the ways but the solution does not seem to have compromise option,” the analyst wrote.
“The reason of it all is that this government refuses to express any viewpoint, even to at least ensure transparency, open documents for the dispute to move to substantial phase,” he stressed, adding that strangely, the PM’s formula he uses in Artsakh issue is not being used in Amulsar issue – finding solution acceptable for the supporters of mine exploitation and those against.
“It will also be an interesting testing. If such formula is found, this experience may be used in Artsakh issue as well,” Danielyan wrote.
