Tender on construction of new metro station to be declared in October

Tender on working out project-calculating documents for the construction of new metro station will be announced in first half of October, representative from deputy PM Tigran Avinyan’s office informed Aysor.am.

“The Yerevan Municipality is to declare projecting as well construction tenders. After this phase is over the issue of allocation of money by the government will be discussed,” the office representative said.

In the upcoming days the corresponding special documents will be summed up, translated into Russian and English languages as well as be agreed with international experts.

“Tender on working out project-calculating documents for the construction of new metro station will be announced in first half of October which is being funded by the government too. The winner organization will prepare project-calculating documents on the basis of which the construction expenses of the new station will be allocated and the tender for construction be announced. Already in that phase the cost of the program will be clear,” the office representative told Aysor.am.

Earlier Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan stated that the construction of new metro station will cost approximately $35 million.

He also noted that the government assured that it is able to provide money for the construction of the metro station.
