Armenia's PM: Armenia's government works 100% transparently with coronavirus numbers, no figures changed
Armenia’s minister of health Arsen Torosyan speaking at the cabinet sitting today said that as of the moment there are 1,300 common and 170 beds in intensive care unit of which 30% is free.
“We were telling that the highest figures were in late July and the lowest was on September 11, after which though the number of infected started growing agreed with the mobility of the people,” he said.
The minister said in the logic of living with coronavirus it is necessary to continue wearing masks, keep social distance and wash hands often.
Torosyan said there are risks which are difficult to manage like the direct risk of spread of virus in transport. He said they do not tie the growth of the number with the opening of schools yet but in case of sharp growth they will.
The prime minister said that all the countries will appear in almost the same situation.
“The developments show that a second, bigger wave started in Europe. Armenia’s government works 100% transparently with coronavirus figures. We have not changed any number,” he said.
