New scenarios discussed at CC, new nominations possible: Hrayr Tovmasyan

New nominations are possible in the Constitutional Court, judge Hrayr Tovmasyan told the reporters today, adding that after his statement other scenarios have also been discussed according to not clarified information.

He added that the discussions took place in political circles.

Speaking about his participation, Tovmasyan said that after he understands that there is no arrangement and the CC is doing everything on its own, he will continue his participation.

He also stressed that when there is one candidate in the CC, it is not a good circumstance.

“It already speaks about some things. When four judges are new and the others do not have a united candidate, one candidate is being nominated, it means there is no competition, there is no alternative for the others,” he said, stressing that this is another reason of the impression that the process is being directed.

Tovmasyan did not exclude that elections will not take place today.
