No decision on PAP leader’s arrest yet, lawyers submit self-recusal petition to the judge
The court hearing of the NSS’ petition to arrest PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan is over, the court departed for consultation room to discuss self-recusal petition to the judge submitted by the lawyers.
Tsarukyan’s lawyer Yerem Sargsyan said that the judge will announce decision on self-recusal at 1.30 p.m.
Explaining the reason, the lawyer said they have trustworthy information about the judge being directed by some officials.
The lawyer did not exclude submitting self-recusal petitions to the accusation side.
"The situation will show," Sargsyan said.
He stressed that according to the information they possess, everything will be done for NSS' petition to be upheld.
"This hastiness is for that reason. The goal is one to arrest [Gagik Tsarukyan] as soon as possible." the lawyer stressed.
